Church and Cathedral Roofing

Prestige Leadcraft has extensive experience working on places of worship and other historic buildings. We understand the level of care and documentation required when working on these properties and collaborate with architects, heritage consultants and contractors to deliver accurate, conservation-sensitive work.


We’ve restored lead-clad spires, repaired rainwater goods and fabricated lead features for external artefacts—everything from cross mounts to wall plaques and decorative finials.

Church and Cathedral Roofing

This service includes:

  • Full re-roofing of chapels and nave sections in Code 7 or 8 lead

  • Gutter and valley leadwork for churches and cathedrals

  • Replication of historic hoppers, motifs or ornamentation

  • On-site repair of lead crosses, weather vanes and heritage detailing

Restored our church roof with incredible care

We asked Prestige Leadcraft to take on some very delicate repairs to our 18th-century church roof. The team were meticulous. Every piece of lead was hand-finished and fitted with real respect for the building’s character. Communication was excellent throughout and the site was always left clean and tidy.
